“We want peace,” Rashid Khan calls for help amid fierce fighting in Afghanistan

“We want peace,” Afghanistan’s star leg spinner Rashid Khan took to social media on Tuesday, sharing an emotional post appealing to world leaders not to leave Afghanistan in chaos.
The leg spinner, who has played in several franchise leagues around the world, including India’s IPL, Pakistan’s PSL, and Australia’s BBL, in his tweet, said, “Dear World Leaders! My country is in chaos, thousand of innocent people, including children & women, get martyred every day, houses & properties being destructed.A thousand families displaced. Don’t leave us in chaos. Stop killing Afghans & destroying Afghanistan.”
