Rashid Khan returned to Kabul on Sunday after 4 years.

Afghanistan’s star spinner Rashid Khan stayed out of the country to take part in several cricket events in foreign countries, including the Indian Premier League (IPL).

Upon his return, Khan received a warm welcome.

The Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) officials announced the return of its renowned national cricketer.

Photos of Khan’s arrival were shared on the board’s social media platforms, marking his long-awaited return.

Rashid Khan recently played in the Indian Premier League (IPL) for the Gujarat Titans.

Rashid Khan, 25, will lead his national squad in the upcoming T20 World Cup, which will take place in the United States and the West Indies.

However, the Afghan team had already flown to the West Indies on May 16.

Afghanistan will play their first T20 World Cup match against Uganda on June 3 followed by New Zealand, Namibia and West Indies.
