Real Madrid has won the Champions League for a record-extending 15th time!
Real Madrid was crowned champions of Europe after defeating Borussia Dortmund by 2-0 in the Champions League final at Wembley on Saturday.
Two late goals from Dani Carvajal and Vinícius Júnior earned Los Blancos a 2-0 win, breaking Dortmund’s fans’ hearts.
Things turned against Dortmund after its defender Ian Maatsen, needlessly gave away the corner for Carvajal’s header before gifting Real possession for Vinícius’ goal just minutes later.
Carlo Ancelotti secured his fifth victory as Real Madrid’s manager.
Meanwhile, the club won its first title at Wembley.

Real has not been defeated in a European Cup final since their 1-0 loss to Liverpool in 1981.
Since then, they have achieved nine consecutive victories over 43 years, bringing their total tally to 15 titles – more than double the amount amassed by second-placed AC Milan.
