THE JAW-DROPPING PARAMOTOR STUNT WAS STUNNING

The Pakistan Super League (PSL) eighth edition came to an electrifying end on Saturday night with an unforgettable closing ceremony at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. But it was the surprise act by Red Bull that stole the show and left the audience in awe.

Red Bull paragliding and paramotor athlete Horacio Llorens, a five-time world champion and Guinness World Record holder, made history by performing the first-ever live paramotor stunt on a cricket ground in PSL history. He flew from Multan to Lahore, carrying a surprise package that contained Supernova, the PSL 8 Trophy and the ultimate prize of the tournament.

As the traditional festivities of the ceremony came to an end, the host introduced the surprise act with a video showing Horacio picking up the package from the Multan and taking off for Lahore, flying across the historical city of Lahore, showcasing the beauty of Pakistan like never seen before. The audience was treated to a unique and unforgettable experience as Llorens passed over the Badshahi Mosque, Minar-e-Pakistan, Lahore Fort, and the Ravi River.

But that was not all!

The audience was then treated to an exhilarating sight of Horacio paramotoring above the stadium, with the trophy in his hand.

The stunt was witnessed by thousands in attendance and millions watching on TV, and it added a new level of excitement and entertainment to the PSL closing ceremony. Red Bull’s innovative and incredible stunts have become a staple of PSL ceremonies, and each year, they raise the bar for thrilling performances.
