Shami was accused by the Indian trolls of ‘deliberate’ poor performance against Pakistan.
Though it was a bad day for Shami, who failed to pick up a wicket and conceded 43 runs in 3.5 overs.
And being an Indian Muslim he becomes an instant target of an Islamophobic attack!
Mohammed Shami is the only Muslim cricketer on the Indian cricket squad playing in the ICC Men’s-XI Cricket World Cup.
