Salah signs new 2-year contract with Liverpool
Egyptian Star Ends Speculation, Secures Future at Anfield Amidst Stellar Season Performance

Mohamed Salah has signed a new two-year contract with Liverpool, extending his stay at Anfield until 2027.
The Egyptian has put pen to paper on a two-year contract worth £380,000 per week, ending one of the club’s biggest contract sagas of the century.
Liverpool has broken a golden rule in offering him a new deal, as Fenway Sports Group are typically reluctant to hand out new contracts to players over 30.
This move ends months of speculation about his future and comes as Liverpool is closing in on the Premier League title.

Salah, who joined Liverpool from Roma in 2017, has been instrumental in the club’s success, scoring 243 goals in 394 appearances and winning several major honors, including the Premier League, Champions League, and FA Cup.
Salah expressed his excitement and happiness about the extension, citing his belief in the team’s potential to win more trophies and his desire to enjoy his football.
He has been a key player this season, scoring 32 goals in 45 appearances across all competitions and is currently the top scorer in the Premier League with 27 goals.
The contract extension is significant for Liverpool as it secures one of their most iconic players ahead of the summer transfer window. It is also expected that other key players, such as Virgil van Dijk, may follow with their own contract extensions.
Salah’s decision to stay with Liverpool also means he could potentially surpass Roger Hunt to become the club’s second-highest all-time scorer and move up the assists list.
The deal reflects his commitment to the club and his ambition to continue achieving success with the Reds.
