Following the surgery, it is being indicated that Pakistan’s star all-rounder Shadab Khan is expected to be out of action for at least three months. His absence means he will miss Pakistan’s upcoming T20I series against Bangladesh and the West Indies.
Shadab, who recently completed 100 wickets in the Pakistan Super League (PSL), is now facing an uncertain road to recovery. This development comes as the Pakistani team gears up for a three-match T20I series against Bangladesh next month, with the squad announcement expected next week.
Sources indicate that Shadab’s participation in the Asia Cup scheduled for September is also doubtful. Meanwhile, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has yet to release an official recovery timeline or a potential return date for the all-rounder.
It is worth mentioning that Shadab has missed several key matches in recent months due to persistent injury concerns. On the advice of the medical team, he underwent surgery to treat his shoulder injury.
