Shahnawaz Dahani opens his international account with a wicket in his debut T20 against Bangladesh on Monday in Dhaka.

Pakistan fast pacer Shahnawaz Dahani, 23, made history on Monday as he became the first cricketer from the city of Larkana to feature in a T20I match for Pakistan.

The right-arm fast bowler will cherish his maiden wicket for the rest of his life as he clean bowled Najmul Hossain Shanto on the third ball of his first international cricket over.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) also shared a video of him receiving his debut cap from Sarfaraz Ahmed.

“Today is my debut match and I am very excited,” Dahani had told the PCB’s media team before the match.

“I am so excited that I cannot express my feelings. I was unable to sleep last night due to the happiness,” he added.
