And ahead of the key match, like many others, former Pakistan fast pacer Shoaib Akhtar hasn’t forgotten to remind the Black Caps of the humiliation they caused by calling off the Pakistan tour just a few hours before the match.

Taking a dig at the team New Zealand, Shoaib Akhtar tweeted, “I request all Pakistan fans to remain silent and not enjoy too extravagantly. There is every chance that New Zealand may ask for the match to be called off due to too much noise inside the stadium, if not for security concerns.”

It was after India’s historic defeat by Pakistan, the former Pakistan fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar lashed out at ex-Indian spinner Harbhajan Singh over his earlier remarks in which he had taken aim at the Men in Green.

Pakistan, on Sunday, trounced India by 10 wickets to chase their mediocre 152-run target, breaking various records in the match.

Taking to social media, Shoaib Akhtar said, “Haan Bhajji? Harbhajan Singh. Walkover lena hai? Nahi lena? Acha. Chalo, kya karsakte hain yar. Relax yar, enjoy the day. And, bardasht karo (Harbhajan Singh. Do you still want a walkover? No? Okay. Well, what can one do. Relax, enjoy the day. And, bear with it).”

A couple of days before the high-octane clash, Harbhajan Singh had said that Pakistan should give India a walkover, considering there was no chance that Babar Azam-led team would defeat India.
