Sourav Ganguly suffers cardiac arrest; admitted to hospital

BCCI president Sourav Ganguly has been admitted to hospital in Kolkata after suffering a cardiac attack on Saturday.

The former left-handed batsman is reported to get angioplasty today.

According to media reports, Ganguly was rushed to Woodlands Hospital after he fell ill during a workout session in the gym at his residence in Kolkata.

According to the hospital source, the 48-year-old former skipper is stable and is undergoing tests.

Hospital sources added that Ganguly had suffered a mild cardiac arrest and tests are on to ascertain his health parameters.
