Suresh Raina announces retirement from international cricket

Suresh Raina announces retirement from international forms of cricket on Saturday.

The development comes minutes after former Indian captain MS Dhoni’s retirement announcement.

Taking it to social media, Raina wrote, “It was nothing but lovely playing with you, @mahi7781. With my heart full of pride, I choose to join you in this journey. Thank you, India”.

33-year-old Raina is the first Indian batsman to register centuries in all three formats of the game.

He has been out of action in international cricket for quite a while and he last played in 2018.

As being reported, Raina arrived in Chennai on Friday for a short training camp ahead of the IPL in UAE along with his Chennai Super Kings teammate Dhoni.
