Tamim Iqbal ruled out of Asia cup with fractured wrist

Bangladesh’s ace opener Tamim Iqbal will take no part in the Asia Cup 2018 after fracturing his left wrist. In the 1^st match of the tournament, Bangladesh were rocked early losing 2 early wickets to Lasith Malinga. In the 2^nd over, Tamim Iqbal had to leave the field injured as he took a blow on his left wrist facing up to Suranga Lakmal.

It is being reported that the left handed will be out of action for a month and half. This will be a big problem for the Bangladesh management as Tamim has been a prolific scorer for them over the last many years.

Bangladesh are to face Afghanistan on the 20^th September.
