Virat Kohli’s T20I captaincy tenure ends following exit from T20 World Cup.
On Tuesday, BCCI has announced Rohit Sharma will lead India in T20I Series against New Zealand.

Kohli played his last match as India’s T20I captain on Monday leading his side in their 9-wicket win over Namibia in the T20 World Cup 2021.
However, he will continue to lead the national side in ODI and Test cricket.
Kohli has captained India in 50 T20I internationals, leading the team to 30 wins.
India is to take on New Zealand in the home series starting from November 17.
While Rahul Dravid takes over as head coach of the team as Ravi Shastri’s tenure ended with the conclusion of India’s T20 World Cup campaign.
