Grok 3 Unveiled by Elon Musk’s xAI
xAI also introduced DeepSearch, an AI-powered search engine

Elon Musk’s AI company, xAI, has launched Grok 3, a powerful new AI model designed to rival top models like OpenAI’s GPT-4o and Google’s Gemini.
Grok 3 boasts over ten times the computational power of its predecessor and features enhanced reasoning capabilities to tackle complex queries more effectively.
Trained using a massive data centre with approximately 200,000 GPUs in Memphis.
It offers “Think” and “Big Brain” modes for detailed problem-solving, particularly useful for math, science, and coding questions. And outperforms competitors in benchmarks such as AIME (math) and GPQA (physics, biology, chemistry).
Grok 3 is available to Premium Plus subscribers on X (formerly Twitter), with additional access options through a separate subscription called Super Grok for early access to new features.
xAI also introduced DeepSearch, an AI-powered search engine that scans the internet and X network to provide concise summaries based on user queries. This feature aims to compete with other research tools by offering quick extraction of relevant information.
The rollout of Grok 3 signals xAI’s broader push into enterprise markets where AI-driven automation tools are in high demand. The company plans to release the API for Grok-3 soon.
“Grok 3 has very powerful reasoning capabilities, so in the tests that we’ve done thus far, Grok 3 is outperforming anything that’s been released, that we’re aware of, so that’s a good sign,” Musk said in a video call last week with the World Governments Summit in Dubai.
