Threads became the fastest-growing app in history after up more than 100 million users sign-in in five days!

• The app smashed the 10 million mark within just 7 hours of the launch
• Threads is already at the top of free apps charts on both Android and iOS

Threads app, a rival to Twitter, crossed the 100 million mark early Monday after being launched across 100 countries on Wednesday evening, as per the data from Quiver Quantitative, which tracks the data from the Instagram app.

Threads has overtaken ChatGPT’s record, as the OpenAI chatbot had reached the 100 million mark in two months.

While the video-sharing app TikTok took nine months, and Instagram itself took two and a half years to reach that mark after its 2010 launch.

According to Sensor Tower data, the Threads app is currently the most downloaded free app in the U.S. on both the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store.
