Pakistan’s third private airline, Air Sial has launched its international flight operations.
The airline started flight operations for Saudi Arabia in order to provide convenience to Umrah pilgrims.
Air Sial’s first International Flight PF716 to Jeddah departed from the Allama Iqbal International Airport Lahore on Wednesday.
Chairman Air Sial announced that in the first phase, eight weekly flights will be operated for Jeddah from Lahore and Islamabad.
Talking to the media during the opening ceremony held at Allama Iqbal International Airport, Lahore, Chairman Air Sial Fazal Jilani said that the launch of international flights after the successful domestic operation is a great achievement of Air Sial, in the first phase, Lahore, Islamabad.
“AirSial will also start Karachi-Jeddah, Peshawar to Jeddah and Sialkot-Jeddah flights in the second phase,” he said, adding that Airbus320 will be used for Saudi Arabia flights.
8 weekly flights will be operated from Jeddah to Jeddah, the airline will operate 68 flights to Jeddah every month, he said.
