PIA will launch six weekly flights to Istanbul

PIA will be resuming its flight operations to Türkiye!

As reported, the Pakistan International Airline has completed all the required preparations in this regard.

The national carrier will now be operating six weekly flights from Pakistan to Türkiye, as PIA and Turkish Airlines have agreed on the codeshare agreement.

Initially, four flights from Islamabad and 2 flights from Lahore will be operated by Boeing 777.

As reported, passengers would be able to travel to 28 cities from Istanbul.

Following the resumption of flights to Istanbul, Travelers from Pakistan would be allowed to fly via Istanbul to destinations in Europe, the UK, and the USA.

The decision is expected to bring in significant revenue for PIA which has been trying to cut down on operational costs.

According to a PIA spokesperson, the national airline plans to operate flights to Turkiye’s Istanbul city from Islamabad and Lahore airports.

PIA will use the latest Airbus 320 for the Turkiye flight operation.
