First teaser of upcoming Pakistani animated film ‘The Donkey King’ is out

The first teaser of upcoming Pakistani animated film “The Donkey King” is out. The animated film is directed by Aziz Jindani. It is Geo Films and Talisman Studios project, slated for 13th October release.

The 50 seconds duration trailer provides a glimpse at the story line of this animated film which promises that it will be “fun for all ages”. Trailer opens at the scene of a royal court; the film is about a kingdom of donkeys. It seems like the film will be revolving around an animated character donkey named “Mangu”, who is a washer man or better say washer donkey, with some big dreams. They lead character’s introduction is provided in this short duration teaser, “My name is Mangu, Mangu Jan Mangu – the washing machine”.

While talking about this new venture the creative man behind the project, Aziz Jindani said, “The Donkey King is an attempt to redefine the animation film genre in Pakistan. It will transcend the category by appealing to children and the child within every adult. The strongest point of The Donkey King is its unique, locally relevant storyline, tongue and cheek dialogues and characters that are built to last. The content speaks to the kids but consistently winks at the adult, which will make it a worthwhile watch for all age groups.”
