Indian artists extend condolences on the demise of Umer Sharif

Indian artists have extended condolences on the demise of Umer Sharif.

Pakistan’s King of Comedy, Umer Sharif has been extremely popular across the border as well.

When times were good, Umer Sharif had travelled numerous times to India and made appearances in numerous shows.

Multiple Indian artists have bid farewell to the legendary comedian who passed away after a prolonged illness on Oct.2.

Kapil Sharma, the host of famous comedy show ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’, was among the first Indian artist to bid goodbye to Umer Sharif.

“Goodbye legend! May your soul rest in peace,” Indian comedian and TV show host Kapil Sharma tweeted.

 

“My heart is so so heavy with the news that the highly respected and legendary comedian #UmerSharif Bhai passed away today. He not only had a unique ‘andaz e bayaan’ but was also a socially and morally conscious human being. May Allaah(swt) have mercy on and bless his soul,” famous Hollywood actor and producer Javed Jaaferi tweeted.

Indian actor-comedian Sudesh Lehri in a tweet bid goodbye to the legend Umer Sharif.

“The one who made the whole world laugh, brought tears to everyone’s eyes today,” he said.

Renowned Indian Punjabi singer Daler Mehndi offered condolences on the death of legendary Pakistani comedian Umer Sharif.

Famous Indian actor-comedian, Ali Asgar in a tweet said, “Inna lillahe wa inna elayeh raajeon… Alwida Umer sharif Bhai you will never be forgotten.”

 

Leading Bollywood comedian Johnny Lever in a statement said that today we have lost a great artist.

“Umar Sharif was a very good man, he has a lot of fans in India, the entire Indian film industry is obsessed with Umar Sharif. People in India were thirsty to see Umar Sharif, saddened by his death,” he said.

People like Umer Sharif has shown the world that art and artist are not bound to any boundaries.

Umer Sharif’s death has left many of his Indians fans mourning.
