BlackPink’s Lisa has been banned from Weibo amid the ‘Crazy Horse’ controversy!
As reported, One of China’s biggest social media platforms Weibo removed K-Pop star Lisa’s account which has millions of followers.
The move reportedly comes after the rapper faced a huge backlash for her burlesque performance at a cabaret in Paris.
As reported, luxury bands CELINE and BVLGARI‘s Weibo accounts also removed Lisa‘s photos after her account deletion.
Lisa has been a global brand ambassador for these luxury brands.
The platform has also shut down the account of Chinese actress Angelababy, whose real name is Angela Yeung.
Though no explanation was given for the Weibo ban, speculations are rife on social media that the suspension of accounts had to do with the decision by Angelababy and actress Zhang Jiani to attend a recent show by Lisa at Crazy Horse Paris.
On the other hand, the K-pop group’s fans lambasted China’s censorship laws on social media.
