Kate Middleton sends a warm thankyou letter to designer Maheen Khan

Kate Middleton vowed every one for the fashion choices she made for her recent trip to Pakistan. Pakistani designers managed to provide the finest pieces of their creations to the Duchess of Cambridge, who is now thanking Pakistani designers who contributed to making her #RoyalVisitPakistan successful.

Recently, Pakistan’s ace designer Maheen Khan has received a letter from the Duchess of Cambridge, thanking her for the dresses for she made for the royal trip.

“Thank you so much for all your help ahead of my tour to Pakistan. I am so grateful to you and your team for designing such a wonderful selection to choose from – although having so many beautiful things did make decision making a little more difficult”, Kate writes in the letter.

“I really enjoyed wearing both of your outfits and the trousers were a great fit too. So thank you for all your time and effort you put into everything”, The Duchess continued,

“We thoroughly enjoyed our visit, everyone was so welcoming and it was lovely to have the chance to meet you in person at the spectacular Pakistan Monument. I am sorry it was so short. Thank you once again, this comes with my warmest thanks and best wishes”.

The couturier who had been in the UK for Pakistan Fashion Week, in an interview with BBC has revealed that sales of her collection have increased since the Duchess wore the outfits designed by her during the royal couple’s highly-anticipated trip to Pakistan in October.

“It is fabulous. I get orders every day online,” Maheen Khan said.

“It’s a matter of pride and pleasure for me that Kate wore a dress that I designed,” said Maheen Khan in her interview, adding that she had had no direct communication with her.

“I used different types of fabrics in Kate’s costumes, including chiffon and raw silk. I thought Kate liked to wear simple, classic and elegant dresses”, she further added.
