An Additional Session court on Saturday began hearing of Pakistani actress Meera’s application challenging the decision of the family court which had declared the actress as the wife of Atiq-ur-Rehman.
Meera’s counsel in the case, during the hearing, asked session court to grant him some time to submit the argument regarding the case.
The Additional Session judge Adnan Tariq has accepted the request of Meera’s lawyer and asked him to conclude the argument in the next hearing to be held on Monday.
Earlier, Meera filed the application through her lawyer stated that she was not even acquainted with Atiq-ur-Rehman, how could she marry him? But the family court declared him her husband.
The actress stated that the family court ruling was against the facts as she never married Atiq-ur-Rehman.
