Shahrukh Khan to star in Karan Johar’s next?

Karan Johar, the ace director/producer, knows how and what to deliver when it comes to films. And when its a collab with King Khan, the film’s success knows no bounds. Fans of this hit Jodi, albeit an actor and a director, are spread throughout the world. More so, here in Pakistan, people go absolutely crazy when there is a Shahrukh Khan film and that too when its presented by Dharma Productions and KJo as the director.

Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Kabhi Kushi Kabhi Gham, Kal Ho Na Ho, Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna are just a few names of superhit blockbusters Karan Johar and Shahrukh Khan created together.

In a recent interview, KJo was reported of hinting of a full fledged collaboration with Shahrukh Khan in near future and man we’re excited.

“I just can’t wait to share cinema space with Shah Rukh again. In the last few years, we co-produced films together such as Student Of The Year(2012) and Dear Zindagi (2016) but now I can’t wait to collaborate with him in a full-fledged manner because I know whenever we do something together, it will be extraordinary and amazing,” Karan Johar shared in an interview.

Adding more about Khan, Johar mentioned, “He isn’t just a part of my career, he’s a part of my life as well. Shah Rukh, Gauri and the kids – Aryan, Suhana and AbRam – are my immediate family. I won’t even use the word dosti. Apart from my dad (late Yash Johar) and mum (Hiroo Johar), I consider Shah Rukh and Adi (Aditya) Chopra’s families my other families in Mumbai. They are always going to be in every part and beat of my life.”

Announcing how he was ready to be back to work, Karan Johar added, “Shah Rukh has been one of my best experiences in cinema ever and it’s something that I can’t wait to repeat.”

And so, we ardent cinema fans here are dying to see King Khan back in action with a soft romantic flick, Karan Johar style, that’s high on the love, romance and family quotient and away from heavy, mature subjects.
