Shane West, Mandy Moore recreate A Walk To Remember

We absolutely fell in love with Shane West and Mandy Moore as Landon and Jamie in A Walk To Remember. The beautiful love story was not only poignant in its essence, it moved our hearts and left a mark.

Fast forward 17 years of brilliance, Mandy Moore has been honoured with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and Shane West joined her to make a speech for Moore in Los Angeles during the ceremony. The duo also recreated the famous pose from film, making the audience fall in love.

“We could not have been more opposite when we met. I was busy wearing ill-advised clothes and having dubious hair choices and eyeliner in my garage punk band, or whatever that was, and you were killing it on the pop-star scene … I was trying to get you to listen to the Clash and the Ramones. You were not interested but you were very sweet about it,” he stated.

“Not only was this film a wonderful experience in every way, it gave me the chance to fall for this fantastic woman,” he continued. “Mandy, you are an absolute gem, your smile is absolutely ridiculous—seriously, it’s ridiculous, and it lights up the room when you walk in—your energy is irresistible, and your heart is second to none. I couldn’t be more proud of you, I couldn’t be more happy for you. Love ya,” reported ELLE magazine as Shane saying.

Moore thanked Shane not only in person but also posted a heartfelt note on her social media as well.

“Stars have always sort of been our thing. Thankful to @theshanewest for his kind words on this very special day, one which I will never forget. It was a walk (of fame) to remember.🌟,” wrote Moore on her Instagram.
