‘You’ Star Mark Blum dies of COVID-19 complications - OyeYeah News
Veteran American stage actor Mark Blum, who also starred in Netflix drama “You” has passed away due to complications from the novel coronavirus. The actor was 69.
Blum was a regular player with New York theatre company Playwrights Horizons. The company remembered him on Twitter.
“With love and heavy hearts, Playwrights Horizons pays tribute to Mark Blum, a dear longtime friend, and a consummate artist who passed this week.
“Thank you, Mark, for all you brought to our theater, and to theaters and audiences across the world. We will miss you,” read the social media post.
Madonna has also paid tribute to Mark Blum as the two co-starred in the 1985 film Desperately Seeking Susan.
The US singer and actress remembered Blum, as “funny, warm, loving and professional”.
“My heart goes out to him, his family and his loved ones,” she wrote.
