YouTuber Merium Pervaiz Receives Golden Play Button for 1 Million Subscribers

YouTuber and beauty influencer Merium Pervaiz has achieved 1 million subscribers in quite a short span of time and hence received a golden play button from the video-sharing platform.

The YouTuber who enjoys a massive following also faces criticism for some of her DIY tips.

Merium began her journey in 2018 June as a makeup and beauty Instagram blogger. Soon her popularity grew manifolds and she initiated her YouTube channel to share the beauty-related vlogs.

But what became a bone of contention between her and netizens was her promotion of colorism and time and again inciting people to achieve whiter skin through her DIYs.

Some also maintained that she uses harmful ingredients in her DIYs and should not be doing so.

Regardless of the criticism, Merium proved that when there’s a will there’s a way and despite having a load of family and personal responsibilities, the blogger has landed among the league of top YouTubers. Here’s hoping that Merium makes use of her great reach and promotes healthier choices in society.
