Bakhtawar Episode-19 Review: Is Bakhtawar really going to marry Ahad?

Salaar attempts to assault Noora

Hum Tv drama serial Bakhtawar is going round and round, despite having a brave storyline and a strong portrayal of women the story seems dragged. Performances are outstanding, particularly Zaviyaar and Yumna both have given their best. In the previous episode, we have seen that Bakhtawar agrees to marry Ahad. In this episode, Bakhtawar gets engaged with Ahad although she is getting second thoughts about her decision.

Bakhtawar’s empathy as I said earlier will put her in trouble. The way she is trying to protect Noora and making Malik Dilawar suspicious about herself. Malik Dilawar is not making any sense at all, the way he gets angry and cold all of a sudden with Bakhtoo looks absurd. Bakhtawar’s empathy is not just limited to Noora, she is resolute to help the poor second wife of Molvi Nazar.

Molvi Nazar’s character portrayal seems stereotyped showing a bearded man talking about religion and at the same time abusing his right as a husband. I literally don’t understand why Bakhtawar is not communicating with Kulsoom as Bakhtawar it would have been easier for both of them but no Bakhtawar second time as well tries to communicate with her as Bakhtoo and putting the poor girl’s life into more trouble.

Noora’s world of dreams gets shattered when Salaar shows his real face to her. Noora is terrified when Salaar shows his lusty advances to her. Noora is still fearing to make him angry as she is still kind of in love with him but little does that poor thing cares where she stands. Had Noora always kept in mind her place she would not have gone that far? Poor Noora has to pay a price for daring to dream about Salaar. Salaar is a monster he humiliates her for daring to dream about him and ends up assaulting her. Unfortunately, Bakhtawar cannot protect Noora. Bakahtawar gets engaged to Ahad but she is getting second thoughts about her decision. Is Bakhtawar really going to marry Ahad?
