Bandish S2 Episode-7 Review: Sameer’s factory catches fire

Bandish Season 2 despite being a disappointment somehow manages to catch our interest, the play ain’t that bad, and the performances are brilliant. In this episode, the horror element is missing just like the previous episode. Sameer faces a huge business loss his factory catches fire and he lost all his inventory which was being prepared for his contract. We guess it’s black magic at work!

The spookiest scene of this episode is one when Waniya has seen the darkness in the living room and hears someone crying and growling. She out of curiosity goes there and sees the back of a black-clad woman mourning over a dead body. She steps ahead and sees her own self as a dead body! God that scene is so bone-chilling. Poor Waniya cannot even share her fear with anyone right at the moment Sameer shares the bad news with her.

Sameer’s factory caught a huge fire and he faces a massive business loss of nearly 3 Crores! our heart goes out to him. He lost all the inventory he was preparing for his contract. We know that it is the work of black magic. The necromancer has asked Farhana for the pictures and in this Armaan also helped out his mother by providing pictures of Sameer’s family from Rabail’s Facebook account.

It is also giving us a lesson not to share much on Facebook. It is so easy for Armaan to download and transfer that to her mother via her mother’s friend’s number. After this Sameer’s factory catches fire. We know that Armaan is jealous of Sameer’s family as well but we have no idea that he will be siding with his mother in her black magic practices. He knows that his mother is involved in occultism but instead of stopping her, he facilitates her, and we have seen that he is happy when he hears about the fire at Sameer’s factory.

It is shown that even Farhana is also facing the consequences of her devilish practices. That dead crow lying on her bed and even when she discards it he comes back to her bed. Rabail’s boss too seems quite interested in her. He offers Rabail that he is interested in investing in his brother’s business when he hears about the loss but on the other hand, he tells her to hide this investment thing with his brother her boss. I smell something fishy here as well. Interesting buildup with spookier vibes!
