Fairy Tale Season 2 Episode-1 Review: Fun Guaranteed!

HUM TV drama serial Fairy Tale season 1 was a massive hit Ramazan serial. After the immense success and so much overwhelming response from the fans on social media, the writer of the serial Sarah Majeed, and the makers of Fairy Tale have come up with Season 2. Fairy Tale is a romantic comedy in an urban setting with lots of nuances and tugged-in messaging. On top of that Sehar Khan as Umeed Pasha and Hamza Shohail as Farjaad’s cracking chemistry is what makes this serial a happy watch.

The makers of this drama have chosen quite an innovative style to show the audience a quick recap of what had happened in Season 1. They have taken a creative license to show the recap of the whole of Season 1 as a feature film in the cinema where the whole Pasha family is watching along with Farjaad, Mimi, and his mother. The recap flick is full of fun moments reminding the audience of the past season.

After the film ended the whole Pasha Family had a good laugh and they ask Farjaad’s mother to join them for lunch at their home. However, Farjaad’s mother Nighat is showing some shade here it seems like she is not happy to make Umeed her daughter-in-law. However, Farjaad is keen to join them for lunch and he did where he offers his gratitude to Pasha family and along with that he hands Umeed an appointment letter. He is offering her a job in his office.

It is so good to see Sameer and Haya together, well we are missing AK and wondering where has he gone. It is so heartbreaking to see poor Mimi dialing Asad’s number over and over and ends up getting disappointed. It is shown that Kamal Pasha is a bit softened. Hilal Pasha and Chachi are cute as ever so is Aagho Jaan. Umeed is late on the first day of her job. She is creating waves in the office. On the second day of her job, she makes her day too early and it reminds me of Ankahi’s iconic scene where Umeed Pasha is sleeping on the sofa, and the rest of the people in the office are watching her.

The ending part of this Mega episode is super funny with the star plus Tarka! It is shown in such a witty and humorous way Oh my God the way Niggo and Mimi dressed up as Indian soap actresses with their apt expressions on their faces and Sehar with her perfect performance making this scene one of the best fun-filled moments. The scene is like a satire mocking Indian soaps and how it going to influence us in all wrong ways. Well, Niggo is resolute to become a perfect typical saas is she really serious or she is just teasing Farjaad?
