Kabli Pulao Episode-12 Review: Haji Mushtaq and Barbeena drifting apart?

Kabli Pulao, a Green Entertainment drama serial is going strong after 12 episodes. This episode is also quite gripping. Sabeena Farooq and Estheshaamuddin have given award-winning performances in this play. It is Kashif Nisar’s directorial prowess and the equally brilliant script by Zafar Mairaj that makes this masterpiece possible. In the previous episode, we have seen that Haji Mushtaq fails to sell Kabli Pulao. In this episode, Barbeena is able to successfully sell Kabli Pulao but is their relationship drifting apart?

Haaji Mushtaq always comes home with a daaigh full of Kabli pulao as he fails to make the sales. Well, I do not agree with this part of the story people do buy tasty food despite the fact who is selling it. It is shown that Kabli Pulao is a failure because Haaji Mushtaq is selling it makes no sense. Hajra advised Haji Mushtaq to let Barbeena sell Kabli Pulao herself as she says that she will make a virtual shop online.

Haji Mushtaq gives permission to Barbeena for opening an online shop as he has no other choice. Hajra films Barbeena who introduces herself and her business to the world. Little do they know that there is a big bad world out there. People start giving business to Barbeena their sales are skyrocketing but the public also starts flirting with her. Barbeena has become a star figure people taking selfies with her is quite a stretch.

However, Haji Sahab is after all human he gets insecure with all that fame. Barbeena gets worried about this situation she asks Hajra to delete all her pictures and videos from that business page but Hajra behaves oddly she comes and starts blaming Haji Sahab for being a shallow person. Barbeena snubs Hajra for talking like that with her husband. Inspector Ilays on the other hand has captured Haji Mushtaq’s brother-in-law and the inspector has put a condition to bring Haji Mushtaq only then he will release him.

Hajra publishes Haji Mushtaq and Barbeena’s film despite of her husband Asad’s disapproval. They are fighting over it badly and come to Haaji Mushtaq and Barbeena’s place. There Asad imparts the news of Hajra publishing their life story on the Internet. Both Barbeena and Haji Mushtaq watched their own life story on screen. The way Barbeena feels betrayed and the way she cries in the end, our heart goes out to her. Haji Mushtaq’s whole family and Baraan also watched this film and they will soon come to know about Haji Mushatq’s whereabouts. Will this publishing of the film bring Barbeena and Haji Mushtaq even closer? or will it drift them apart?
