Kuch Ankahi Episode-23 Review: A test awaits Aaliya

Ary Digital’s drama serial Kuch Ankahi has our hearts. What an absolutely brilliant script and equally brilliant execution. You instantly fall in love with all the characters of the drama so believable yet fascinating. In the previous episode, we have seen that Aaliya is at least sure about her feelings for Salman. However in this episode, a test is awaiting Aaliya, and Asfar starts taking a keen interest in her as well.

Tania is in real trouble and it is a realistic depiction of how poor victims are forced to stay silent if any big fish is involved in harassment issues. Ali reminds her of her vulnerable position and asks her to publically apologize on social media.

Tania is not ready to back away from her stance even though Mona asks her to back off. Ali says that he is leaving her friendship forever if she is not going to apologize. However, Shakeel is with her and he tells her never back off from her stance or he will going to lose faith in her. It is cute when he tells her that it is she who has taught him to do what you feel is right and be confident about it. Tania is kind of amazed by what Shakeel has said to her.

Samia is happy to leave Saif then why she goes to Shagufta’s house? Shagufta is such a vile character she is not ready to move back. However, She gets shocked to see that Samia is not spineless. Shagufta’s father is a decent man he tries his best to convince Shagufta to drop the idea of marrying Saif. He even tries to emotionally blackmail her. He certainly does not deserve shaming from Saif’s mother. Samia has decided to leave Saif and it is so good to see her doing that in good spirit. Why there is so much pain attached to divorce one can leave another on a good and happy note?

Aaliya and Salman’s scene was going so well. Aaliya has also given him signals. Salman’s mother has also discussed their engagement with Aaliya’s mother. However, everything seems ruined when Asfar and his sister started taking a keen interest in Aaliya. Asfar has all plans to marry her. Sehrish although has sensed that Salman takes an interest in her as well still gives Aaliya signals about Asfar and calls her family. Aaliya is not ready for this, she has already decided for Salman. Our heart goes out to Salman. We are rooting only for Salman and Aaliya, although Asfar is looking deadly handsome when he is kinda wooing Aaliya. Very interesting buildup.
