Pehli Si Muhabbat Episode-21 Review: Zainab instills hope in Aslam and Rakshi’s hearts

Pehli Si Muhabbat one of the exquisitely portrayed dramas is about unrequited love. The play very beautifully depicts the first love of various characters but none of them can materialize their love be it Zainab, Sikandar, Rakshi, Aslam, or Nargis, and is interpreted differently according to the characters, characters are behaving according to their own character traits, for instance, Sikandar has made his love as a matter of his ego. This is the mastery of this play and Faiza Iftikhar has incredibly crafted these characters.

The scene begins with Rakshi’s Mayoon where she is getting dolled up with a dead soul. She is all dressed up but her eyes are questioning Nargis that why? Why she is letting her in this forced marriage? Why she is not standing for her? It looks so heart-wrenching that a motherless girl is being forced to get married to a person against her wishes. We are wondering how come Nargis is letting this happen?

Aslam’s helplessness and his pain are getting out of his control. The way Sheharyar Munawar has played this performance is simply incredible, and it is so heart-wrenching that our heart literally goes out with him. How cruel is the world that is not letting these two lovers unite? Nargis’s ex-lover also finds her house and now it seems that he is all set to win her back.

Zainab meets Sikandar in the park again, he is persistent, he is pleading with Zainab to leave everything behind and to marry him. He says that he will accept her children too but Zainab clearly refuses his offer. Moreover, she tells him that she does not love him anymore. The passion and fervor once she feels for him are over now and she cannot accept his offer at any cost. Sikandar seems delusional he is still hoping that Zainab will come back to him.

Zainab’s change of heart towards her husband is not making her warmer in fact she is still showing coldness to him which looks annoying. It seems that there is something cooking in her head, she has made her mind that she is not going to accept Sikandar’s offer but she is not ready to let Rakshi marry Sikandar. She has some plan going in her head and for its execution she goes to Rakshi’s place, hiding her identity from Nargis. Zainab is instilling some hope for Aslam and Rakshi’s union. We wish that Zainab succeeds in her plan, poor Rakshi will not have to marry Sikandar.
