Yunhi Episode-21 Review: Kim overhears Dada Jee and Dawood’s conversation

Yunhi the Hum TV drama serial airing is one of our favorite weekend watch. The play is slow-paced and has a very calming watch. The vintage vibes and aesthetics topped with the crackling chemistry between Maya Ali and Bilal Ashraf make this serial a perfect treat. In the previous episode, we have seen that the bond between Kim and Dawood is getting stronger. In this episode, it is shown that Hamid’s father shows his true colors at the time of Nikkah.

Kim has also influenced Dawood positively in the way he has influenced her. The way Dawood is convincing his sister to forget Owais and closes his chapter speaks volumes about how much he cares for his sister’s feelings. Surraiya seems convinced by her brother’s counseling.

Dawood is trying hard to convince his Dada jee to call off Surraiya’s nikkah, he is of the view that Surraiya is not happy with this proposal. Dada Jee is too rigid he is not ready to move back from what he has decided for Surraiya. One thing is not making any sense why Dawood told Dada Jee that he is not happy with his life with Kim. The saddest part is that Kim overhears this conversation.

Kim is kinda shocked and sad to hear that Dawood is not happy with his life. She was thinking that he might like her. We can see tears shining in Kim’s eyes. Kim shies away from asking directly from Dawood even though Dawood knows that she is upset about something. Kim and Dawood’s relationship just started getting stronger but then this episode seems like bringing a crack in this bond. Razia snubs Kim for not wearing Western clothes on Surraiya’s nikkah but Kim is Kim she follows her heart, she dons Western attire making Razia furious but still Dawood warmly welcomes her. Hamid also greets her in a funny manner.

Hamid’s father shows his true colors at the nikkah time. He as we all know has ulterior motives behind this nikkah. He puts a very inappropriate demand of making his son settle in America. In front of Kim, he starts mentioning that Basharat has taken a handsome amount of cash in Dollars at Kim and Dawood Nikkah. Everyone is shocked including Kim. The question arises whether will Dada jee still going to accept Hamid’s father’s inappropriate demands and will marry off Surraiya with Hamid or will he snub Firdous and Khursheed on this. Will this mention of money going to create further differences between Kim and Dawood?
