Aagha Ali and ARY Music cut a happening musical deal!

Here’s a good news for Pakistan music; Aagha Ali, one of the most versatile actor and now singer is all set to release his debut music album. Recently Aagha took us by surprise with his amazing single Mein Wohi Aashiq, which we had to admit, was a visual experience in itself, and then by singing the OST of his drama serial, Mere Bewafa. His duet with Aima Baig came out splendid and amazed the audience at Aagha’s versatility.

A contract has been signed and according to details, ARY Music will be releasing Aagha Ali’s album naming ”Rock Star”. Which is expected to be released most probably in mid of July or August, says Aagha Ali while talking to OyeYeah.

Aagha Ali while talking about the details added, ‘We were in contact for a few months, series of meeting were held. After looking at my work at first I was asked to release my songs one by one, but later on we reached a contract that ARY Music will be releasing my album”. All the songs will be composed, written and sung by Agha Ali and music will be given by Qasim Azhar.

4 music videos and 8 concerts will be arranged all over the Pakistan via the help of ARY in connection to promote this album and the music says Ali, adding further details, ”The 8 concerts planned are going to be proper shows as music tour. For which entries are being planned properly. The interesting thing is that a comedian will also be part of this tour along with other singers”. Major cities including Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad, Multan, Faisalabad , Muree and more are to host this tour.

This tour is more likely to start from the month of August, adds Ali, ”The first music video will be released very soon, the second in April, third in Ramazan and fourth on Eid”.

Aagha Ali is going to be the first Pakistani singer in almost a decade to get a credit to release an album along with a country wide music tour. For this achievement Aagha adds,” This is so far my biggest achievement I feel. ARY is a huge brand and this is more than a dream come true. I feel supremely lucky to be that. I will have my own album. After Nori, the band I am the only one releasing proper album and theirs happened to be by self help. I really want our music industry back like it used to be. I want albums to release and promotional concerts to happen. I want PAKISTAN to rise again in music not just with Coke Studio but overall as an industry. And this seems like a brick in that building.”

Ali also says that he will be continuing his acting career side by side with singing. His drama serial Mere Bewafa is currently on air on A plus channel, for which the melodious OST has also been sung by the star himself, and is getting much appreciation.

Despite a busy schedule with acting and concerts,  Aagha Ali will be seen in a special Ramzan drama series for Express TV as well.
