Ahsan Khan won a number of awards for his play Udaari, where he successfully played the role of a child molester, Paa Imtiaz. Ahsan Khan, at a number of occasions has reported taking up the role because he felt there was a need to create awareness about the issue. He has also authored a book on the same issue to make sure, children know what to expect and how to tackle when they find themselves amongst such a situation.
Ahsan Khan has relentlessly worked for the inclusion of children with Down Syndrome. Ahsan is of the belief that every child is special and chromosomal disorders does not allow people to be excluded from what life has to offer.
From setting up the first wall of kindness to hosting the Bazar-e-Meherbani, Ahsan Khan has lent support to a number of generous activities that focus on helping the underprivileged and giving them a better chance at life.
Ahsan also lent full support to Afsheen, the little girl with a severe neck problem. He not only personally looked into Afsheen’s case but also sought help on a national scale.
Ahsan Khan was recently awarded a certificate of recognition from Los Angeles for his services for children education and awareness about child abuse. Ahsan flew to the US to support an initiative by CALPAK- Alliance of Californian Americans and Pakistanis, that provides education to the under-privileged communities of Pakistan.
