Ayesha Omar steps into 1971 era in upcoming film “Huey Tum Ajnabi”

Kamran Shahid’s directorial debut film is set to release on Eid ul Fitr

Ayesha Omar will be seen stepping into the 1971 era in the upcoming film “Huey Tum Ajnabi”.

Written, directed and produced by Kamran Shahid, the period fantasy film is slated for Eid ul Fitr 2023 release.

Taking it to social media, Ayesha Omar shared some insights about her character along with behind-the-scenes images from the film.

“Meet Ayesha” from my upcoming film ‘Huey Tum Ajnabi’ in 1971, when Pakistan was being divided in two, amidst love, chaos, heartbreak, torture, death, despair and muscular more…watch this riveting film to follow her journey and what she puts on the line…” she added.

The star cast of Huey Tum Ajnabi cast includes veteran actors Sohail Ahmed, Mehmood Aslam, Shafqat Cheema, Samina Pirzada, Shamoon Abbasi, Alyy Khan and the legendary Shahid in pivotal roles.

Kamran Shahid revealed that it took him six years to complete the film.
