Captain Sarfraz rises to the challenge

In such in a backdrop, yesterday’s knock was essential for Sarfraz. He was clinical in his approach, getting his team home alongside, Rilee Rossouw. The left hander was clearly struggling for timing. He couldn’t hit out, so he just rotated the strike. Sarfraz, on the other hand was middling the ball beautifully especially in the mid off to cover region; both areas are often unguarded as captains keep the fielders in within the 30 yards circle.

Watson has been tremendous with bat and ball. Rile Rossouw has been adequate if not spectacular. However, you can’t claim that Mohammad Nawaz hasn’t been spectacular. He is one bowler, who has excelled in Sharjah and Dubai. The young boy, Hassan Khan has chipped in beautifully too.
