Geo Entertainment’s Khaie wins over audiences with its enthralling narrative!

Khaie starring Faysal Quraishi and Durefishan Saleem in the lead, is two episodes down and already has the audience hooked with its interesting story build-up based on the traditions and lifestyle of northern areas.

Khaie is written by Saqlain Abbas and directed by Syed Wajahat Hussain.

The drama also features an ensemble cast including Hadiqa Kiani, Noor Ul Hassan, Khalid Butt, Laila Wasti, Osama Tahir, Uzma Hassan, Saba Faysal, Hina Bayat, Javed Jamal, and more.

The first episode kicked off showing a Pashtun family of five returning to Pakistan after 25 years, apparently from Bahrain. The parents, Darwesh Khan (played by Noor ul Hassan) and Husn Bano (portrayed by Saba Faisal), are accompanied by their children, including Durefishan (Zamda), and her two brothers.

The 7th Sky Entertainment’s production is titled after Khaie, a Pashto word.

The intrigue around the drama title adds an extra layer of anticipation for the production.

Khaie is based on the ancient tradition of eliminating the male members of an enemy’s family to discontinue their lineage.

After the two episodes, a tale of passion, betrayal, and redemption is gradually unfolding and the early reactions to the drama have arrived on social media.

Durefishan’s character in Khaie has become the talk of the town, showcasing a subtly powerful presence on screen.

After acting, it’s the cinematography of the serial which is gaining praise from the audiences.

Director Syed Wajahat Hussain has undoubtedly done a remarkable job.

Right from the beginning, the audience’s focus is on the serene locations of the northern areas of Pakistan, which appear to be fully utilized.

Faisal Qureshi is seen as yet another bad man’s portrayal. This time he features in a Pathan persona, exuding an authentic gangster vibe.

Many audiences are of the view that the drama should be aired with trigger warnings as well for showcasing violence.
