Guru teaser reveals Ali Rehman Khan essaying an intersex character in Express Entertainment’s upcoming drama.

After the Pakistani film ‘Joyland’ and the drama ‘Sirrah’, another drama based on the sensitive topic of intersex/eunuch is being presented in which actor Ali Rehman Khan is playing the role of a eunuch for the first time.

The teaser of Express Entertainment’s upcoming drama ‘Guru’ has been released, the short teaser features Ali Rahman as an intersex character.

Without any dialogue, the teaser showed Ali Rehman dancing at a function for money.

The teaser shows that Ali Rahman, who plays the role of an intersex, is happy dancing at events, but in his personal life, he is sad and sad.

The drama also stars Zhalay Sarhadi, Hira Khan, and Umer Aalam in pivotal roles. 

Guru is directed by Bilawal Hussain Abbasi.

Earlier the producer of the show Shazia Wahajat took to her Instagram to praise Ali Rehman Khan for taking on a “challenging” role.

“Super proud of my friend Ali Rehman Khan for getting out of his comfort zone and taking on this challenging role. Thank you for breaking barriers with a whole new look, that many would think twice of doing,” Shazia, who is one of the producers for the drama, wrote.
