Major General Asif Ghafoor has a savage reply for Indian Major who tries to troll Pakistan

Perhaps the stars were not in our favor this time. Not that our team performed bad, but it was luck that landed team Pakistan on the fifth slot in the points table for World Cup 2019. Had we focused on our first match against West Indies and had rain not destroyed Pakistan’s chances of a win against Sri Lanka, perhaps the results would have been different. However, what’s done is done and as we believe, everything happens for a reason.

But perhaps our neighbors aren’t having it lightly. Without going into the debate whether India played with ”intent” against England or not, lets look at what people across the border are conveying to Pakistan.

Major Surendra Poonia, from Indian Special Forces, shared a rather sarcastic tweet for Pakistan, not making it to the semi finals.

“Congratulations Pakistan for securing 5th place in cricket World Cup ! Our hero Wing Commander Abhinandan left your cup in Major General Asif Gafoor’s office ! Kindly collect it & celebrate ,” wrote Poonia.

To this, without making any political statements, Major Asif Ghafoor (DG ISPR) gave a savage reply to Surendra Poonia, causing major burns with his swag!

“Good luck for WC19. We don’t equate sports with other things esp issues & conflicts. We Pakistanis are truly large at heart, ask Abhinandan. But you can’t understand this as it req moral values,a lacking displayed vs Eng. Yes, tea cup is with us, also Mig21 wreckage & much more,” wrote Asif Ghafoor on his personal Twitter handle.
