Meghan Markle, Prince Harry reference ‘Baby Sussex’ and encourage charity support

Duke and Duchess of Sussex on Monday referenced to ‘Baby Sussex’ for the first time on Instagram just weeks before the expected birth of the royal newbie.

The royal couple praised fans for supporting charities instead of sending baby gifts. The Duke and Duchess requested them to support a few charities a week ago which include the Lunch Box Fund, Little Village, Well Child and Baby2Baby and it has already paid off.

While thanking the fans on donating for a noble cause, the post read:

“You made this happen. Thank you.”

The post on the royal Instagram account encouraged friends and fans to make donations.

“Whether a $5 donation, £1000 contribution, offering to volunteer, or spreading the word – you’ve played your part. And on behalf of The Duke and Duchess (and Baby Sussex), we thank you so much,”

According to the official Sussexroyal Instagram account, Meghan and Harry’s supporters have made it so 100,000 hot meals can go to South African children through Lunchbox Fund, plenty more quality baby kits can be available via Little Village, an additional 300 hours of specialist care by a nurse for a child with health needs can be provided by Well Child and 5,000 children’s products including cribs and diapers can be dispersed by Baby2Baby.

The royal couple is making more effort for the welfare of underprivileged children worldwide before their own ‘Baby Sussex’ is even born.
