Khalid Siddiqui’s Calligraphy Exhibition is a must go for calligraphy enthusiasts!

A calligraphy exhibition is being hosted for this long weekend at Karachi’s landmark Frere Hall, which is surely not to be missed. The exhibits include master pieces of renowned calligrapher Khalid Siddiqui, who has worked for the past 30 years in both Urdu and Arabic languages. Exhibition will continue from today 3rd February till Monday 5th February, from 10 am to 6pm.

This exhibition is arranged by Alif Bay Pay, an organization which aims at promoting Pakistani art and literature all over the world, which is spearheaded by Abu Ahmed Akif and Prof. Saleem Mughal.

Talking to OyeYeah, Prof. Saleem Mughal said, ” We are proud to host Khalid Siddiqui’s exhibition at Karachi, hope you all visit will us”.

Mr. Khalid Siddiqui is a well known senior calligraphy master of PAKISTAN and has participated in many International Calligraphy Exhibitions. His work has been show cased at national and international shows including France and England.

His Father, Mr. Mehmood Ul Hassan Siddiqui (Late) was also great calligraphy master and the Student of Legend of Legends Calligrapher Ustad Abdul Majeed Parveen Raqam. He is an expert in Classical styles of calligraphy like Thuluth, Nastaleeq and Naskh.

His work is mainly classical, highlighting the traditional artistic form of calligraphy with a highly innovative and original form of composition and a unique combination of Sulus and Nastaliq (Farsi). His singular contribution to traditional artistic expression makes him an unmistakable calligrapher and professional in his field.
