Origami & Mekaal Hasan present The Koblumpi Music Festival 2019

One of Pakistan’s most acclaimed music director, Mekaal Hasan and one of Pakistan’s leading entertainment solution providers, Origami, proudly present The Koblumpi Music Festival 2019 scheduled to take place in Lahore on 22 December at The Farm House.

The Koblumpi Music Festival is an all afternoon festival, from 12 noon to 6 pm, featuring a wide range of independent artists from across the country, with added activities for kids and families, as well as a huge array of food stalls and refreshments. Indeed, Mehreen Rana at Origami and Mekaal Hasan aim to provide an atmospheric experience for the independent music fans and families with children, in Lahore.

The list of musicians and bands for The Koblumpi Music Festival include Sikander Ka Mandar, Keeray Makoray, Poor Rich Boy, Mekaal Hasan Band, Quadrum, Harris Saeed, Farheen Raza, Madlock, Arsalan Hasan, Bayaan, Ali Suhail, Romaisa Tariq, Abdullah Siddiqui, and Luke William to name a few. Being organized in partnership with Lotus PR, tickets for The Koblumpi Music Festival are priced at only PKR 1,000/- which can be purchased in advance from Mocca Lahore [Mall 1 and DHA Phase 5] from Monday and will also be available at the venue.

“We want to create a platform for musicians across the board to have an opportunity to perform live on stage and bring back the healthy, outdoor activities culture we grew up with. We hope to scale it up next year in March inshallah. This is just the beginning and we are excited!”, said Mehreen Rana.

“The Koblumpi Music Festival seeks to present the freshest talent and outpouring of creative thought from independent artists across Pakistan. The festival will focus on presenting original music by new as well as established artists whose creative vision is one of pushing boundaries and creating new waves in entertainment and music,” said Mekaal Hasan.

Indeed, Origami, which was conceived in 2010, aims to provide and establish multiple platforms of different genres to provide entertainment for the youth in Pakistan.

The Koblumpi Music Festival consists of Festival Director Mehreen Rana, Show Director Mekaal Hasan, and Danish Qureshi as Lead Designer and Ali Khan as Creative Director with CityFM89 as the radio partner and Careem as the technology partner.
