Stars opt for eco-friendly look for Oscars 2020, including Jane Fonda who wore 6-year-old gown

After declaring publicly that she won’t be buying any new clothing as part of her ongoing climate change protest, she appeared in a recycled look at the 2020 Academy Awards.

Fonda took the stage in a gray pixie cut and a crimson beaded Elie Saab gown she previously wore to Cannes in 2014, to present the Best Film award.

She also carried the cardinal-red coat, that she previously declared was “the last article of clothing I will ever buy” as part of her ongoing climate change protests.

Kaitlyn Dever opted for eco-friendly fabrics. The 23-years-old The Book Smart star wore a “completely sustainable,” red Louis Vuitton gown to the Academy Awards.
