Ahsan Khan and Ayesha Omar Starrer Rehbara Finds its Course Two Years Later

Earlier slated for an Eid Ul Azha 2017 release, Ahsan Khan and Ayesha Omar starrer Rehbara had lost its track for some reasons unknown. The good and the big news here is that the Amin Iqbal directorial has finally found its course as the shooting has resumed for the remainder of the film.

“There’s just a few patchwork shots left, a week’s worth of shooting for the film and this one song,” said Ahsan while talking to a publication

Two years ago the Alif actor had informed the same news outlet that the movie was 95% complete; so this time it has to be a meager 5% of the remaining shoot.

The actor added that he and co-star Ayesha also had date issues, so the two sat down and worked out a plan that best-suited everyone.

Ahsan also shared a few glimpses of the shoot on Instagram as he and Ayesha shot on a vibrant set of railway station – the same spot where they last left off.

 

Scheduled for a 2020 release now, the movie is produced by US-based Pakistani lady Saira, who has specially flew in for the film, Ahsan stated.

“It’s a romantic film, not exactly a rom-com; there’s some satire in the film but at the heart of it, it’s a romance flick with a sweet soundtrack. My personal favourites are the title song and a ballad by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan,” said Ahsan of Rehbara, his next big-screen flick.
