The actress also revealed that Lockdown will most likely become the first film to be released for online streaming as currently pitching it Netflix and Amazon Prime is both under consideration.
“It’s a love story with the backdrop of lockdown and the horrors of Covid-19. The whole world is experiencing it right now,” said Gohar while adding, “The story is very unique, it’s very relatable. The way it’s been written, the kind of treatment they’re doing, it’s never been done before.”
Directed by Abu Aleeha and scripted by Abida Ahmed, the Gohar Faryal starrer is currently in shooting spell. The release date for the film has not been announced as of yet.
