Kristen Stewart to star in Charlie’s Angels reboot

‘Charlie’s Angels’ will be returning to the big screen next year in September 2019 with its third installment, and this time starring Kristen Stewart as the main lead of the movie. It’s been six years since the last Twilight movie came out and it is high time that Stewart joins in for a huge Hollywood project.


The trio of Angels will include Naomi Scott, who stars as Jasmine in Disney’s upcoming Aladdin remake, and a newcomer British actress Ella Balinska. The three stars have been confirmed as the new faces for ‘Charlie’s Angels reboot’. Elizabeth Banks, who is directing the project, will also be taking part in front of the camera as she is reported to be playing Bosley which was played by a man on both the original television series and in the first two movies, the face of the mysterious and never-seen owner of the detective agency, Charlie Townsend.

According to the reports the new reboot story will take the detective agency premise of the original 1976-1981 TV series and 2000 and 2003 movies global, with the Townsend Agency now a worldwide security and intelligence service that has teams active around the world. The movie will focus on one of those teams and the next generation of Angels. Which sounds promising. It will be hitting theaters in September 2019.

This movie is the third installment in the Charlie’s Angels film series which starred Cameron Diaz, Drew Barrymore and Lucy Liu as three women working in a private detective agency in Los Angeles, which earned over 500 million dollars on worldwide box office.
