Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar’s 2.0 remains strong at the box office on day 1!

After two days of its release Akshay Kumar and Rajinikanth starrer 2.0 has so far generated positive reviews. As being reported the film has managed to get a heads up start at the box office by crossing INR 1 billion mark.

According to the film critic film has earned 38.25 cr on Friday.

Director S Shankar, was also overwhelmed with the response 2.0 has generated at the ticket window. On Friday he tweeted: “My heart full thanks to the audience who have lapped up 2.0 and celebrated and made it a huge success and to all the media who supported and respected the hard work of our team, and to my whole team who have given a piece of their life to 2.0.”

2.0 became the Bollywood’s most expensive film to be made till date. The film was released on 19th of November, the sci-fi project stars Amy Jackson as the female lead.

The film is being acclaimed by the critics for its top notch special effects that were on par with Hollywood standards, though the film’s story is not up to the mark.

The film has yet to match the SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali 2, which made INR1.22 billion in India alone on the day of its release. Let’s see how the overall summation of box office collections of different language versions turns out to be .
