Tom Cruise Heading to Space in October 2021

Earlier in May it was reported that Hollywood’s superstar Tom Cruise was collaborating with Elon Musk and NASA for a first of its kind space film. In July NASA administrator Jim Bridenstine confirmed the news with his tweet and now it looks like Tom Cruise is getting ready for a space cruise next year.

According to recent charts revealed by Space Shuttle Almanac, Tom and director of the $200 million budgeted space film Doug Liman will be onboard SpaceX Crew Dragon in October 2021.

“On Monday the Twitter handle for the Space Shuttle Almanac shared a chart of spacecrafts and countries set to launch in the next three years,” reported an international publication.

Under October 2021 tab, Twitter users saw “SpaceX Crew Dragon with an image of a small space vehicle beside it. Next to the illustration are a list of three names: SpaceX Pilot Lopez Alegria, Tourist 1 Tom Cruise and Tourist 2 Doug Liman. The tourist flight also shows a vacant spot for a third visitor,” the publication added.

It is still unclear whether Tom and Liman’s space expedition will be a part of initial reiki or begin the production phase of the much awaited film. As per reports Liman is currently scripting the film, which will be co-produced by Cruise, Liman, Christopher McQuarrie and PJ van Sandwijk.
