Warner Bros. has live-action “Tom and Jerry” and new “Scooby Doo” films in making.

The newest craze taking over Hollywood is the reboot and live-action movies being in production. The latest we hear is the confirmation is that Warner Bros. is about to revive Looney Tunes and Hanna-Barbera classics. As being reported W.B has tapped in Tim Story for live-action ‘Tom & Jerry’ and Chris Columbus for new ‘Scooby-Doo” film.

As per the company’s plans the first up in a live-action/animation hybrid picture is Tom and Jerry, which is followed by the animated Scooby-Doo film.

Who is not crazy to watch the world wide famous cat and mouse pair, Tom and Jerry. And now this pair is all set to step into the real-world setting. Tom and Jerry will be silent just like the cartoon series and filmmakers would not have to spend a fortune on casting the voice actors. The film will be directed by Tim Story who is known for the Ride Along movies, the first Fantastic Four movie (and sequel), and the upcoming Shaft reboot. there have been over a dozen Tom and Jerry movies over the years but a live-action is going to be first ever of its kind. Its shoot is going to kick off in 2019.

According to the details which have surfaced till now, the new untitled Scooby-Doo project, is going to be a fully animated film. It is expected to arrive in theaters in the first quarter of 2020.

Warner Bros is already making ‘Wile E. Coyote Vs Acme’ hybrid feature. According to the media reports Chris McKay, the director of The Lego Batman Movie, is producing Coyote film.
